Would you say that I would not seek any asylums but select suicide after being tortured all day along? Or, would you like to wait tomorrow, wait to be transformed to be a 'JET' again on a stage with thousands watching?

Most of SMART people I know always suppose that they and their descendants would not fall into such a situation, or they could only image that they are the ones who give tortures.

What made me laugh is their ancestors 150+ years ago always believed that they were ever and forever the NO.1 in the world. And now they have to fled from the ever and forever NO.1 country, and they say we would not come by boat.

GOD, I might ever talked with such a one in the Iran airport

It was in 2011, the guy told me that they were heading to Australia, but they would fly to Indonesia for vacation with their relatives first, and then fly to Australia. He told me he had a family reunion visa while I was still struggling IELTS. It's quite strange for a middle-aged Iranian to have relatives in both Indonesia and Australia.

I didn't give a second thought but believe this guys and his wife/boys/girls were just lucky! Hope they are now still living somewhere.

我觉得这个政策还是很不错的，直接指向了问题的根本，所以连Abbott也要承认是一个很好的政策。

关于难民的问题，我觉得这是一个双面的问题，首先，从人性的角度说，我们不能忽视确实有很多难民确实需要人道主义救助。但是同时，我们不能因为给难民提供了“太好”的人道主义救助，导致大家都想去伪装成难民。这让我想起了茅于轼对于国内经适房的提议，就是经适房不要有卫生间，只有公共厕所，这样有钱人才会看不上。我觉得难民的处理政策也是一样的，你要保障难民的基本人权和人生安全，因为人人生而平等。但是同时不能把这个作为一个可以移民到澳洲的“快速通道”。所以让他们去巴新，在我看来，是一个非常好的决定，就像那种没有卫生间的经适房，虽然看起来糟糕了些，但是至少在最大限度上做到了可行性。

Besides，经济复苏，失业率降低以及实际工资提升是两个完全不同的概念。如果对这个不了解的话，可以读一下美国罗斯福新政时期的历史。如果反对党上台，我觉得在保守的作用下，经济可能会复苏，但是失业率不见得会降低。

政府说了，完全合法，根本不怕那些讼棍。人权律师想了一天，用的词语是可耻，没见他们说要告政府。没难民了，人权律师就没有生意了。他们急了！

我不觉得这是一个bad example。相反，我觉得这是在现行世界中最接近可行的一个方案，一个大家都可以接受并且妥协的方案，而不是设立一个超过的标准，但是大家都做不到 -- 那么这样的标准实际上毫无意义。对于任何发达国家来说，无条件接受难民都是不可承受之重。

澳洲政府就是放不开虚伪的架子，俨然以一副人权卫士的样子。
不顾国内反对的声音
不改变policy，是尼玛最没人权的做法

首先，亡命之徒拼死了也要上岸
然后，罔顾纳税人的利益，花费巨额资金建什么离岸审核

我觉得还是想办法全部遣返才是正道，一张飞机票的钱总比劳师动众的好
多遣返几次我想就没什么人敢来了

污水处理，service fee全都涨了。泥马还卖给大家那么多带花园的大house，还让不让人过了。
