Role: Delivery Manager ( SI 1, Testing 1)       report - CEO

Experience eligibility: Should have a total experience of more than 14 years as on 31st March 2010. Should have handled a portfolio of 125 People with multiple projects or handled a large portfolio of 200 people or handled a portfolio of $ 5 to 10


Role responsibilities:

 Lead large proposals (> 2M USD), provide guidance, review (mainly Solution, Estimation, Financial modeling, Project Plan and Risks), and give approvals on the system

 Review and ensure correctness of estimates for all projects

 Provide final executive sign off on all the estimates for new projects (in CIMBA) as well as for ongoing projects (in PBS)

 Review the project level resource plan, consolidate and prepare resource plan for the DU including people, space, infrastructure and liaison with required groups to fulfill the DU resource

Requirements

 Define the quality goals for the DU, review project level data and take corrective action so as to comply with the DU level quality goals for all projects within the DU

 Do regular risk assessment of projects and undertake mitigation planning

 Review of potential/high risk projects and provide governance of complex engagements

 Review the scope, schedule, estimation, quality goals, risk plan and resource plan

 Provide delivery governance and be the escalation point for all project issues

 Do regular review & sign off of project on milestone/metrics reports to track the project performance against goals and take corrective measures if required

 Review all phases of the project on a regular basis and suggest corrective actions

 Understand aspirations of employees & work with employees on their career path

 Plan for and mentor employees on their competency development

 Implement performance management as per organizational guidelines

 Mentor the team and participate in the recruitment activities

 Track utilization and bench management and provide best estimates

 Track open resource requirements and comply to all OEI parameters for all projects in the portfol

Engagement Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Works with - Business Managers, Senior Project Managers, Account Managers, other Project Managers in China IBU, Enterprise Solutions and Infosys Consulting.

About the opportunity:
The Engagement Manager will manage portfolios of projects at various locations

The incumbent's primary focus is to manage the offshore/ onsite projects in line with the targets set for delivery and the major responsibilities include
1.Managing the delivery of the projects objectively with focus on financial (Operating margins, revenue productivity), people matters (Appraisals, attrition, employee satisfaction) and organizational matters (PU Initiatives, DU level initiatives)

2.Handling proposal reviews, estimation and project planning

3.Coordinating invoicing and updates Org. Wide IS (PSWEB / IPM)

4.Resolution of issues

5.Ability to directly interact with the Customer and Senior Management at Infosys to manage issues pertaining to the center or specific project(s)

6.Reviewing of project plans (PMP, CMP) and monitoring critically the schedules, costs, risks of activities to honour commitments made to customer, as per proposal

7.Ensuring timeliness and quality of deliverables

8.Defining the project team organization

Skills/ Profile requirement envisaged
1.Total experience of 8+ years with a proven track record of effective delivery of software solutions

2.Minimum of 5+ years in the high tech and manufacturing industry with an excellent performance

3.A combination of strong business domain knowledge and strong technology capabilities

4.Strong knowledge of onsite/offshore operations

5.Strong people management skills

6.Strong Domain knowledge preferably in Banking

7.Engineering major from a reputed institution is prefer

8.Project Management and team working using a consultative approach is necessary.

The person should have:
1.Demonstrated ability to handle large teams both at onsite and offshore

2.Provide inspirational leadership to his team

3.Handled management responsibilities including Project Management and /or Account Management

4.Excellent oral and written communication skills

5.Ability to think on his/her feet

6.Strong client management skills and the ability to navigate difficult political client situations

7.No travel constraints

8.People management skills to take ample care of career planning, sensitive to employee issues and conversant with the hiring policies.

9.Good Financial management in terms of executing project under strict budget and resource constraints.

10.Technical leadership

11.Good understanding of Infosys methodologies and quality processes

12.Good knowledge of estimation methodologies

13.Strong Skills - Siebel/ .net / J2EE / Supply Chain technologies

Manager / Lead Manager, Information Security Risk Management, SA&A
Reporting To – Group Manager - Information Security Risk Management, SA&A

Responsibilities
1.Work with the local teams as part of SA&A Risk Management team to facilitate –
2.Risk analysis of services and assets
3.Implementation of risk mitigating controls
4.Measurement of control effectiveness through metrics
5.Effective closure of all internal/external audit observations
6.Requirements sign off and UAT from security perspective, for IS applications owned by the concerned BEF or subsidiary specific internal applications.
7.Implementation of controls for compliance with SOX, FISAP or equivalent

requirements
1.Work with the delivery account / process teams within the subsidiary to facilitate
2.Assistance to delivery accounts to ensure and track compliance with contractual requirements from information security perspective
3.Providing information security expert assistance for audit/visit by customer/prospect
4.Effective closure of all internal/external audit observations
5.Measurement of control effectiveness through metrics at a delivery account level
6.Providing information security expert assistance to delivery accounts for external audits e.g. ISO 27001, SAS70, PCI etc
7.Provide assistance to SA&A Risk Management Team activities e.g. creating security awareness in the subsidiary
8.Provide support and seek assistance from SA&A Audits & Assurance Team for scheduling internal systems and process audits.
9.Provide support and seek assistance from SA&A Engineering team for issues related to secure system/network configuration, secure technology evaluation and forensic investigation.
10.Provide support and seek assistance from SA&A Incident Management Team for issues related to security incident management.

Pre-requisites  
1.Must have information security implementation related experience of 6 to 10 years.
2.Must have good understanding of information security related standards like ISO 27001, PCI, COBIT
3.Relevant certifications like CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer would be preferred.
4.Should have good understanding of basic concepts of networking, TCP/IP, Security issues in operating systems (e.g. Microsoft Windows), information security risks in networks, systems and processes etc.
5.Previous hands on experience in terms of IT systems integration, administration or network design etc. would be additional advantage.
6.Should have keen interest to learn about new trends in information security and ability to apply the knowledge to identify and mitigate new areas of risks.
7.Should have the ability to manage projects involving cross functional teams.
8.Should have excellent communications skills in English and Mandarin languages.
9.Should be a good team player since this involves working with geographically distributed teams.
10.Must have ability to understand IP laws and protection mechanisms in China and Australia.
11.Should have the ability to bring experience of progressive Information Security practices from the region.
12.Should have about 6 – 8 experience in working with multinational companies; with demonstrated ability to effectively interact in the region (Primarily China and Australia).
