if you are in Victoria, please visit Chinese medicine registration board of Victoria
www.cmrb.vic.gov.au

if you are not in victoria, you don't have to register before you practice, however you'd better joint some Acupuncture/Chinese medicine association such as:
www.atms.org.au
www.fcma.org.au

By 2012, all practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese medicine will have to be registered as the National Registeration will start at that time.
