关于新ACS Reference Letter问题

看了新的Guidelines对Reference Letter的要求 大家帮忙看看理解得对不对
如果直接能搞定"Statements must be dated, signed by youremployer or a person authorised by your employer"这一条　就是和以前一样　只是要一封由顶头上司签的名的推荐信, 而不需要上司的上司签Organization Chart对吧? 经理级别的应该足够权力权签字吧, 不然公司太大总不会要求找总经理甚至董事长签字吧?


如果搞不定上面那条, 分三种情况:
1. Where past education providers and/oremployers no longer exist
2. If you are reluctant to approach your currentemployer
3. a reference from your colleague who occupiesor has occupied a higher position than you, within the organisation
其中第三种相比之前加了此Colleague的immediatesupervisor签Organization Chart和witnessed Statutory Declaration对吧?

我知道同事可以写　但新要求加的东西好像还不如直接找经理写容易些　你看了新的GuideLine没有啊　没看还是看看吧 　我09年的看了好几遍　10年这个也看了好几遍了


更正第三条　应该是签名同事的Statutory Declaration和其immediatesupervisor签Organization Chart.

为什么觉得奇怪呢?　这种情况很常见啊　一个项目组的一般都是一个头的　
我认为这种情况直接找头　不然找完同事还得找头　除非头不太知道你做的是什么

我的理解是当你无法找到过去的同事前reference letter或者公司不存在，或者自雇的情况下，
你需要出具Statutory Declaration

只有当需要出具Statutory Declaration的时候才需要organization chart吧。

理由如下，摘自guide line

Important: If you provide a Statutory Declaration with your application, you must also provide some form of corroborative information from a third party for the claims made in the Statutory Declaration.

In this case, you must provide an organisation chart showing upward and downward reporting relationships. All titles must be included. The organisation chart must be verified by your colleague’s immediate supervisor. A company seal is not sufficient, the document must be signed.

我还是认为只要是同事签就需要Statutory Declaration同时Colleague's Supervisor签名的Organization Chart. 否则没法解释"The organisation chart must be verified by your colleague’s immediate supervisor."

不对，你看我上面quote的那段话是在guide line里同一个方框里的（page 11）

in this case指代的就是要出具Statutory Declaration的情况

但方框里的内容是出现在1.4条的下面

1.4: You may submit a reference from your colleague who occupies or has occupied a higher position than you, within the organisation you were employed at, on aproperly signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration. The Statutory Declaration is to detail as a minimum:

§ the reason/s why your colleague is submitting a Statutory Declaration and all the necessary detail about your employment experience.

而且我理解In this case指的是1.4这个case 而不是Statutory Declaration.


1.3说的是无法得到current employer reference的情况.

并非一定要direct manager签署reference letter否则就必须要Statutory Declaration

我现在也快要提交ACS了，我的问题是checklist里关于reference letter需要supervisor/manager details这个不知道怎么提供。我有一份材料没法让直接的manager签字，万一移民这事不成，我在公司的career path就彻底结束了。我找的是相邻部门的manager签字。acs怎么知道report line？再说这样高一级的同事前面即符合了它reference的要求，我不提供organization chart谁知道。大公司的report line本来就错综复杂。

我理解如果是签字的人的职位是manager那是不是direct的倒无所谓　我想direct一般会比较了解工作内容吧　如果是manager那应该是不需要那套新东西了吧
问题就在如果不是manager　而是senior的同事　我还是坚持地认为需要Statutory Declaration和Organization Chart. 否则ACS无法确定这位同事的资格, 也就无法确认证据是否充分. 我认为是这是ACS重点改进的一个方面.


我准备的Letter在签字的下面留了签字人的Title, Tel, Email等信息. 如果有名片就更好了吧.


没实战经验 大家看看就算了 还是希望有经验的朋友们大力相助.

我准备自己写letter，然后让顶头老大签字，然后附上他的英文名片

word排版的时候，把公司logo和相关地址，联系方式信息放头部

直接让老板签字的各位，你们真的不怕小鞋吗？

我让签字的是acting manager，没改找manager，那肯定宣布我在这家公司职业生涯结束了
