I have different idea:

1. Woolworth ezy card, commonwealth bank, also have no monthly fee, have 55 times cash out in Safeway/BigW/Woolworth shops, extra transfer would cost $0.3 or 0.5, I'm not sure. Now I'll go to safeway almost every two days, and buy a discount juice or ice coffe, then cash out. And what's more, I once cash out $7000 for buying my car, just gave a call to safeway one day early.

2. to 风中旗, the 6 times include pay bills and tranfer money to another bank, so I don't think it's enough, if you got gas, electric, hotwater, phone, rent to pay, each is a bill, and you'll need to transfer money to Citibank every month, right?

3. The citibank online account have 5.25% interest, yeah! But you should notice that, it would change at any time without condition, and it only give you 2 times free accesses per month, then you have to pay $2 for each tranfer! And sometimes when you need bank statement, it also cost you some dollars, and the regular statement only comes per 3 months I think. Compare to St. George, it's online account only give you 5%, but it gives you much more convenience! You could even use it to pay bills, all free, unlimited! You don't need to keep $5000 in your St. george saving account, only $1000 will give you 10 times free accesses, and if you use multiaccess card to pay all the things as a credit card, you even don't need to keep and money in that account!

4. ING is also 5%, and now it have a home loan product, 6.49%... I don't know if it's good, but if you put your money in ING, the home loan would be easy to apply.

Astina, would you check this home loan and give some of your suggestion?

So, my opinion is St. George + ING, or also have a woolworth ezy card in case you need to cash out a lot of money. |
