New exchange rates to take effect on 1 January 2009
The exchange rates applicable to fees and charges collected by the department are calculated according to regulation 5.36 of the Migration Regulations 1994.

New exchange rates will take effect on 1 January 2009 and will apply to all applications received on and after this date. If you mail your application before this date and it is received on or after 1 January 2009, the new exchange rates will apply. For information on what the amount payable will be for a particular visa application, please contact the Australian Mission in the country where you will be making payment.

5.36 是Regulation的编号，不是汇率

自己直接用信用卡付就是了，管他官方汇率多少
