Two job offers are same job titles, same responsibilities.I am planning to start new design company by myself in 2017, and I already registered the business name.
Job offer A:
Pros: 1. the Letter of offer(full-time) was signed two weeks ago, and it is a 3 months probation period. I applied the job via Seek.com.NB:I should report the duties on this Monday, 17/10/2016.
2.The salary is higher than B( base salary is 5k more)
3.Design&Construction company, less chance work overtime.
Cons: 1.Local Australian company, size is 100-200 employees.
2.The workplace is 40 km away from my home, and it will take 40 mins drive via HWY.
3. I am not the ideal candidate as it took 3 weeks to offer me the job from the final interview. Actually the manager told me the decision could be made within one week.
4.Higher expectations.
5.Team leader does not like me.
Job offer B: Emailed the offer yesterday afternoon, and will send the contract soon. Based on projects role.
Pros:1)Famous global consulting company, size 10000+ employees.
2)Close to my home, 15 mins bus.
3)Appreciated and respected by the interviewers - group manager and team leader. Have a good relationship to start with. The interview feedback is very quick. I was approached by the group manager via Linkedin.
4)I could hand the daily duties easily.
5)I may earn more.
Cons: 1)Salary is based on the full-time rate, not the contractor rate. It is ok for me as money is not main concern. The package is acceptable.
2)Contractor role, mentioned possible to permanent depends on my performance.
3) Consulting firm, the high chance of working overtime as the full-time role.
4) Higher english requirements:Oral and written.
Please give some suggestions, and which offer I'd better to take?
Thanks.

In summary the kindly suggestions, B is the preferred option. My wife insists that I report duty on this Monday at A, and do not sign the contract. My initial plan is just give A a call to advise that I accept another offer B. Should I follow my wife's solution?
