Recap capacitor

Hello,

I have a ups which used around 6 years by someone else which include my use for about several months. I am thinking to replace all the big capacitor in the ups. I want to know should I wait the ups dead and then replace the capacitor or should I do it now which is working fine now. I am running it 24hours a day 7days a week all year round.

If I want to recap, I will first unplug the live power line, then I will remove the battery pack, then I will leave the ups sitting idle for about a week. This way will guarantee no risk.
