This is a great flexible part-time or contract opportunity for a draftsperson with superior 2D and 3D mechanical design skills, preferably with experience in HVAC&R.
Generally we require at least 2 days per week, however at times more or less hours may be required.  The drafting will be done in our Castle Hill office using our software.
The key aspects of this role are:
•        Drafting of mechanical plant equipment such as pipe routing (3D & isometric), electrical and control cable routing, steel fabrication and support structures, guards, and vessels in accordance with Australian Standards, Codes and Specifications using Autodesk Inventor 3D Modelling Software.
•        Prepare and maintain P&IDs using AutoCAD
•        Ensure the accuracy of drafting designs by interpreting engineering concepts and specifications and liaising closely with engineers
Key competencies include:
•        Engineering background and knowledge
•        HVAC&R experience highly regarded
•        Extensive mechanical drafting experience using Inventor and AutoCAD (3-5 yrs minimum)
•        Proven experience design drafting to Australian Standards, Codes & Specifications
•        Dedicated, hardworking, task driven and detail oriented
•        Willingness and ability to learn quickly
•        Superior time management skills and an ability to meet deadlines and report on the status of deliverables
•        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Short-listed candidates will be required to undergo a test of their drafting skills at our office.
