Frankly, I am not sure about the idea of talking about this incident from the racism point of view, no matter how much some people intended to, because there was no sign or remarks suggesting that discrimination against some race was involved.

I would rather look at this incident from an approach that directs at "Negligence of duty of care" "Paying all lives with respect"!

As a police officer, he/she should be held accountable for anyone who is taken into his/her custody, that is why we call it "Custody". Whenever this word is involved, "A duty of care" is automatically put in operation, those who operates the custody should take on the guardianship in protecting the receptor's safety and human rights.

whoever enters a profession should be professionally competent to perform his/her healthily in his/her job. That means, the professionals should be non-judgemental, fair and non-discriminant. No matter who he/she is dealing with, they should be treated as equal, as a human being at all times, even though they are alcoholics, drug dealers/users or even murderers.

So, when Mr Tang stated he needed medical assistance, he should have had that service in place on request rather than ignored just because he was regarded being drunk and talking nonsenses. When he was crawling out of his cell, the officers should have been striken by the question "Why a man chose to loss all his dignity as a human being and crawled like an animal?". If this question crossed the officers' mind even briefly, they would have noticed something really went terribly wrong with Mr Tang.

Therefore, whenever the prejudice against certain group (in this case I am talking about the alcoholic group) takes its role, the professionals would loss the sense of professionalism, loss the competency to make sound judgements, loss the sense of duty of care and fail themselves as the qualified professionals as they should be!

What a huge disgrace had been shown in the police force in this case!

Now, I would like to briefly run by you on The Jill's Photo incident!

The police officer who displayed the picture in a utterly non-relevant event is 30-year police veteran. That made me wonder how sick a person he could possibly be to show this crime scene photo in an event trillion miles away from the photo itself.

Especially when this photo shows nothing but disrespect for the deceased, nothing but horrifically graphic description of an innocent woman's tragedy, I would like to request an simple explanation from the so-called police veteran: What message are you trying to get across to the prostate-cancer foundation by showing this photo?

When Jill's murder case was first revealed, I was tremendously sad about such a beautiful life being cut short by the heartless perpetrator in a random attack. But when I heard about this photo release incident, I was tremendously outraged like so many others and constantly haunted by the questions: What kind freak this police veteran has been could keep him remaining in the police force for 30 years?

After Jill's tragedy, about 30,000 people marched through Melbourne's main street to show their strong stand on Anti-violence against women, which demonstrated to the general public that it is not acceptable, not tolerable to exercise the violence of any kind on women.

But, I would say now that in this case, if we put together the shown crime scene photo of a female victim and prostate cancer foundation, it suggests one of the wildest violence of unspeakable kind against women, given, as well, who the person is to release this photo.

We will say how the general public and the police force will react to this disgraceful incident!

My heart is with Jill's family and friends! May they be supported by the God to pull themselves through this ungrounded and unnecessary turbulence!

Haaahaaa

I feel so flattered to hear that!

But, please be aware that I am in the learning process myself, something I post here is just for fun. It will with no doubt be shown some mistakes.

So, if you find anything that makes no sense to you, please let me know! This will help pinpoint the sentences easily for me to have more looks at, and I will make amendments if needed.

Thanks for your attention on this request!

My Harvey has tricked me and deceitfully judged me recently in a very amusing way!

To hear these story, you will have to bear with me blah-blahing his naughty behavoirs first!

Bad one: he loves jumping up to hold onto the clothes hung up on the line, and maybe considering it one of his achievements in his "Jump-and-catch" career whenever he catches one! maybe that's why he holds a very tough ground on this behavoir and never shows a tiny bit willingness to modify it.

Bad two: Explores his surroundings by mouth and chews everything accessible to him, then decides which items are in his interest and chews them until they completely break into small pieces and disappear in his mouth. After a long-term education, he expresses his intention to modify this behavior by letting go off the things he is chewing and picking up something else!

The other day, I did a truck load of laundry and hung them up in every cloth line that I could fit in. Then, I started browsing FreeOz while dog-sitting him.

Before long, Harvey made multiple attempts running towards the cloth rack but failed in succeeding doing any destructive cause, because i could obviously see where he was heading and put his naughty doing to an end. Then, he dropped himself on the grass and appeared very contended with his little snooze.

I thought he gave up on his interest in those clothes and wanted to take a break from all previous endeavors, so, I become less vigilant and sunk myself into @EmilyS ' talk-show and got myself into an appeal to a mercy after @大米粥 sentenced me to an unjustified attack. :lol:lol:lol

Luckily, EmilyS did the justice to my case and overruled 大米粥's premature decision. After I was done with my thank-you letter to EmilyS, I realized that Harvey wasn't lying on the grass anymore.

The first place I checked was the cloth-rack area, he was not there. I looked around the back yard, there was absolutely no sign of him. I started calling him loudly, there was no response from him either.

I became a bit panicked wondering where he could be ( all the doors to house and outside were shut). When my voice became a bit frantic frantic and intense, Harvey made himself visible from the bushes along the fence, just about one step away from the clothes area.

Walking towards me with a guilty look, Harvey just played with me again knowing that he could get away with it if he showed some regret for his naughty behaviors!

And he always wins! lol:lol:lol

After so many times of being told off when he chews things, Harvey shows a trick that tells us off for being silly and a drama queen. That is whenever he is trying to reach over for something with his mouth, we just jump in yelling at him in a hope that we can startle him out of his potential destruction.

In so many occasions, he just turns his chewing activities into the big yawnings. In the meanwhile, he would give us a look, seemingly suggesting that "Hey, relax. I just want to yawn. What are you yelling for? Is there still a freedom of yawning in this house?Geez!"

小样儿, 咋呼啥!我只不过是想打个哈欠,难道在这个家里,连打个哈欠的自由都没有了吗?什么世道!

But as long as I was convinced enough to believe him and blame myself for making a fuss out of nothing, he just seizes all possible opportunities to grab things by his mouth and makes it up to himself for the chewing he has been yelled out of!

I asked one of my colleague about how Australians call their winter clothes differently from what we learnt.

Me: Peter, I remembered when I was in the States, they always called their winter clothes sweater, how come I have never heard anyone here to call "SWEATER"?

Peter: Yeah, we are "Jumpers", that's why!
