Migrating to another country for a bright future is just like a gambling, nobody is 100% sure of what odds (几率/赔率) their immigration stands.
All we need to do is give our best to whatever we throw the dice in and hope the odds will work out in favor of our expectations.
If it turns out for the best for us, then we call ourselves the lucky-dog (幸运儿) who just hits the jackpot.
If we turn out to be the under-dog (倒霉蛋儿), there is no need to turn our life upside down (不必将生活搞得颠三倒四). All we need to do is reshuffle our available cards (重新洗剩下的牌), figure out what is practical and achievable with those cards, switch to a different gambling table and re-throw our dice again.

The following is the farewell letter to my previous workmates, I post it here for your reference, if you see me in another post:
Dear all,
I would like to take this chance to say my sincere thanks to all and each one of you.
I can't describe how hard this has been for me to make the decision to leave this ward and start new journey somewhere else.
Along the way, I have lost the count on how much support you all have provided me, on how much knowledge and wisdom you have passed on to me, and how much effort you have put in guiding me through this special field.
All these three years, I have the privileges to witness the wonderful approaches you have taken towards patients care, I have learned how to deal with different issues professionally, how to work cooperatively with the multi-disciplinary teams. I have learned how to respect patients from different backgrounds, and how to put things into perspective when understanding others.
All of above skills I have picked up from you all make me feel so empowered and confident, and I will take them on to my next journey and make them count in my nursing career.
During my cardiac course, I had got significant support and guidance from all of you. Once again, I would like to pass my appreciation on to you.
This course is the turning point in my nursing career, where I started putting together what I have learned from clinical preceptors and uni educators. Nursing will be an ongoing learning process, and I will sure constantly benefit much more from this course.
No much how much I love this working team and how tough it is for me to leave, the nomad characters inside of me has been awakened. So, with the season's changing, I should move on to different pastures.
More importantly is that I have been empowered with the knowledge and wisdom you all passed on to me. And this makes my future adventures less scary and more rewarding.
By the way, I love the plant from the unit, and I will make sure it thrives with me!
