System and Application Support Specialist - SQL/Active Directory/Powershell

    Melbourne – East
    Permanent Opportunity
    Excellent Remuneration

Our client, a global market leader is currently searching for a System and Application Support Specialist. You will be primary providing support for critical business applications, as well as providing backup technical support to the database, network and infrastructure teams. You will be working close with the Solution Architects to deliver technical business designs and solutions based on customer requirements and defined IT landscape.


Responsibilities will include:

    Provide senior application support to the business critical production applications, which includes scripting and/or programming.
    Consulting, error analysis, issue resolution and solution design assistance for internal customers.
    Help support the project implementation of contracted projects after signoff through to delivery and customer acceptance.
    Help support Database Administration for Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases as well as providing support for Identity Management and software package deployments.



Skills/Experience:

    Strong experience in System and Application Support.
    Strong experience in Microsoft SQL, Active Directory and Powershell scripting.
    Experience in SharePoint Administration and Java scripting would be ideal.
    Experience in any of the following would be highly advantageous: Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft OCS administration and basic SAP CS principles.
