1) The complex is virtually on the main road. It is not only harder to sell/rent out, but also might suffer from noise, etc. Make sure you go there the measure the noise level in the peak hours and at night.
2) If you are after capital gain, go for house rather than town-house. This one was sold last month for 550K (http://www.domain.com.au/Propert ... rd/?adid=2008718175). You might also want to look at other suburbs unless you have a pressing reason to stay in Carlingford.

You can drive to Eastwood Station, then take train to the city
