国外论坛上的native speaker也为雅思烦恼

“I wish i could agree with you but i dont!!, im a native English speaker spent 3yrs at uni doing my adult nursing qualification obtaining very high marks in essays, i also have an O'level in English (although a while ago!!) and finding the reading (Academic version) not general (much, much easier) hard to pass. The answers are NOT always easy to find, i know some people are passing but many are not getting the required 7 to pass. Iv met 6 nurses now at my past ielts all native English and not one of us has passed we are all on our 3rd, 4th attempts.
Im not dumb by any means but the academic version at a pass of 7 in all subjects is proving hard and i wish i could relax but like others i am finding it very stressfull.“

“The IELTS Reading is quite difficult and is not straight forward, especially to get the required pass mark of 7 for registering as a nurse ! My OH has sat the test two times now and not got the required 7 for reading on both occasions but passed the other sections with flying colours !!!! Going through the practice papers with her, I believe that if you had an extra 15 mins it would be a lot simpler, its the timescale that catches most people out."

"I did the academic ielts in dec - I managed to get 9 in each section ( still not sure how I managed it!).
For what it's worth here's my advice:
READING - the time limit is actually longer than it seems. I read the text carefully once, and tried to really understand 'what it was saying'. I then read the questions and was able to remember where in the text the relevent info was - because I'd worked out the general idea of the text and how it was broken down. If you are unsure of an answer, move on and go back to it. Don't spend ages on the same question. If you go back to it, the answer sometimes jumps out. Don't over complicate things and don't assume anything - just remember that the answers are there somewhere - you've just got to find them - AND DON'T PANIC!!"

我觉得恰恰相反，Native Speaker考到9999的也不多。

考到4个9的应该不多, 平均8.5的不少.
老外最害怕的是阅读, 我想中国人最放心的应该就是阅读了.
