On 8 February 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, announced the following changes to the General Skilled Migration program:

the outcomes of a review of the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL)
the replacement of the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) in the second half of 2010
offshore GSM visas made before 1 September 2007 would be capped and ceased
priority processing arrangements
skills assessment requirements for GSM applicants nominating a trade occupation

The new SOL will come into effect from mid-2010 and
will apply to all applicants lodging visa applications made
on or after this date, except to GSM applicants who at
the date of announcement ( 8 February 2010):

If you are not nominated by a state or territory
government in accordance with an approved state
migration plan, or your nominated occupation is not on
the CSL and you have applied for an offshore GSM visa
or intend to apply for an offshore GSM visa, it is unlikely
that your application will be finalised within three years of
the date of the application.
If you are not nominated by a state or territory
government in accordance with an approved state
migration plan or your nominated occupation is not on
the CSL and you applied for an onshore GSM visa or
intend to apply for an onshore GSM visa, it is unlikely
that your visa will be finalised within two years of the
date of the application.
Your ‘nominated occupation’ is the occupation you
nominated at the time you lodged your application and it
cannot be changed.

大概有这三点:
1,2007.9.1以前的case还没处理的会取消...退钱
2,SOL会取代CSL.4月30号公布...年中实施..
3,会review现在的移民评分..但未定是否要更改评分...

看来下半年会有新的紧缺职业清单，如果我在新的SOL出来之前提交申请那还考虑旧的CSL吗

CSL的唯一作用就是优先权，这个优先权在新SOL生效之前仍将有效。之后就没用了，得重新排队。
所以说，如果可以赶在年中之前准签，那CSL就有用。如果不能，CSL对我们就没任何意义了。

现在CSL的审批优先次序和原来的有变化吗？ 因为不记得以前的了， 不知道有哪位TX 还记得不？

现在的是：
Under the ministerial direction, the following processing
priorities (with highest priority listed first) apply:
1. Applications from people who are employer
sponsored under the ENS and the RSMS.
2. Applications from people who are nominated by
a state/territory government agency under a state
migration plan agreed to by the minister.
3. Applications from people who are nominated by
a state/territory government agency and whose
nominated occupation is on the Critical Skills List
(CSL).
4. Applications from people who are neither nominated
nor sponsored in priority groups 1, 2 or 3, but whose
nominated occupation is listed on the CSL.
5. Applications from people who are nominated by a
state/territory government agency whose nominated
occupation is not listed on the CSL.
6. (i) Applications from people whose occupations are
listed on the Migration Occupations in Demand List
(MODL).
(ii) Aplications from people who are sponsored by
family and whose nominated occupation is not listed
on the CSL.
7. All other applications are to be processed in the order
in which they are received.

请问一下，这个准签是什么意思啊？
我以为只要新SOL出来之前申请，如果你在CSL里面，CSL就有作用。

第2优先级的名额很少，好象每州几百个。

要不就要就只能靠雅思加分了

这个specific employment是什么意思？能详细解释下吗？
什么叫in a closely related occupatiion?这和in a occupation on the SOL有什么区别？这一项里我拿了上面的10分还能拿下面那5分吗？
