Jan 2010: Expecting CHANGES in the immigration program? Why should we be optimistic..

We've noticed today that the department of immigration has removed the CSL and Priority Processing stuff which means that the information previously there might be changed soon and the update is probably ready to publish or at least announce in the public.
The MODL review issue paper two says a few suggestions regarding the utilisation of a new Future Skills List and it seems that they have chosen an option from the three option provided. So, may be the minister has chosen the best option suitable and going to publish It.
Some of us are in the pipeline for long and since i'm in cat 6, I have no reason to be optimistic. Some of us are definitely in a state of frustration because we've been waiting for a long time and may have to wait for longer.
The question is "why expect something in favour of us or at least some good news?".
The first thing is that we have no control over the decision of the department of immigration and HAVE TO ACCEPT whatever they announce.
And finally, the department will decide something that would help them clear the backlog and give a smoother processing system. I believe that the minister is in stress, too, regarding the matter because he must do something that would firstly be beneficial to Australia, secondly makes the work of the department easy and smooth and lastly good for those people who are willing to be a part of Australia. It's logical that the department must make sure that every step taken is in favour of Australia since Australia needs SKILLED human resources.
So, LETS HOPE SOMETHING BIGGER and GOOD at least for the applications lodged before January 2010. Just pray that whatever decision they take do not apply retrospectly and our applications begin processing soon.
UPDATE: 10/01/2010
Since there is a concern that this might be a broken link, I think there might be an update process behind it. It appears that whenever DIAC update something, they first take the page to offline and then update and republish that. For example, the media fact sheet page of the immi department's website says that "Note: Fact sheets may be taken offline for amendment at any time." Since, the CSL and Priority Processing of 23rd September section has been removed from the "What's New" page of General Skilled Migration and the 2010 Legislative Changes page (Here: http://www.immi.gov.au/legislation/amendments/2010/) gives a "403 Forbidden Error" which it should not, there are chances that the pages are in a process of updating the information.
