Reporting to the General Manager Technical Infrastructure, this roles core responsibility is to maintain the company’s desktop environment to the highest level. This includes but is not limited to level 2 Desktop Support, problem determination and resolution, installation, administration, maintenance and project work. Duties: • Provide timely and professional Desktop Support • Perform administration, maintenance, installation and configuration • Perform user and systems administration, maintenance, installation and configuration • Complete IT Support and Infrastructure projects work To succeed in this role it is essential you have the following skills and experience: Technical • Commercial (minimum 2 years) knowledge and experience supporting users on Windows XP in a Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory environment • An IT related tertiary qualification and/or relevant industry certifications • Skills in problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware, software, peripheral and networking issues Other skills and experience highly regarded: • Lotus Notes • CITRIX Application Delivery • CISCO Networking LAN/WAN • Windows 2003 server administration and support • IBM System x and Storage • IBM iSeries operations and/or support • RedHat Linux administration • AVAYA IP Telephony Personal Attributes: • Focused on quality customer service and outcomes • A conscientious and motivated self-starter who pays attention to detail and demonstrates initiative • Flexible attitude with the ability to work in a team environment or independently without supervision • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills What We Can Offer You In Return: In return we a can offer you an extensive employee benefits package, which includes but is not limited to fortnightly massages, health promotion program, discounts on a range of retail outlets, theme parks and much more…!
