Job Title:        General Accountant

Regular/Temporary:        Regular

Responsibilities
* Review of revenue for compliance with Revenue Recognition Policy and able to make necessary accounting adjustments
* Contract review and preparation
* Administering Rebates program
* Month End Close Activities – preparation of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, quarter end reporting and some other internal systems function
* Process Improvement and Streamlining
* Administration of ad-hoc projects, including implementation and execution of projects

Qualifications
* Candidate is required to have Finance or Accounting degree
* Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting
* Those with experience in Revenue Accounting within a Software industry would have an advantage
* Specific dealings with Asia Pacific and Japan is a plus.
* Demonstrated success in analyzing key processes for deficiencies and implementing remedial action plans is essential.
* Individual must have excellent communication and strong analytical skills, and be highly motivated
* Individual must also be able to act professionally and with a high degree of maturity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
* Specific working experience with Oracle Financials is required
* Good working experience with Business Objects, Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
