Just received call from Dell, will not be honouring the deal and have offered the same spec at $799. I had the 20" and a couple of other upgrades (soundbar, card-reader), so the $799 price may be the offered price for the order I placed. Have asked for an email of the $799 spec so I can check all the details.

I just got a phonecall then saying the same thing (with a 5% discount) = $759
I want to know if anyone HAS been successful.
I would like to fight this for all it's worth after this confirmed order and price. Where to from here?
