偶觉得工资差不多的话，政府工作较好。政府工作通常福利好，这部分可以看成隐形收入。另外，虽然现在经济一片大好，个人感觉已到顶峰，经济不好时政府工作的稳定性可是私人公司不可比的。

政府工作常见福利如下：
Working Hours
• The hours of duty for salaried staff are 36.25 hours per week, within a variable and flexible working hours framework.
• Time can be accumulated and taken at a later date subject to operational requirements.
Leave Entitlements
• Recreation – employees are entitled to four weeks recreation leave per year with a 17.5% salary loading.
• Sick – accrues at the rate of ten working days on full pay for each year of service.
• Long Service – employees accrue 1.3 weeks on full pay for each year of service. This leave may be taken after ten years of continuous service or earlier in certain cases.
• Family – is available under the provisions of the Family Leave Award – State 2004.
• Special – a range of paid or unpaid special leave is available depending upon circumstances eg bereavement, emergencies etc.
Superannuation
• It is a co-contributory scheme and you can contribute between 2 – 5% of salary. This is matched by the employer contribution of between 9 – 12.75%.
• You can make voluntary contribution, salary sacrifice, transfer money from other funds or make and receive spouse contributions.
Study Assistance
Varying degrees of study assistance may be available. The level provided will depend upon the relevance of the course. Depending upon the category of assistance approved, employees may qualify for a range of benefits including:
• Course attendance leave
• Examination and study leave
• Reimbursement of fees and other course related costs.
Recognition of prior service
For sick and long service leave purposes, 。。upon request and subject to certain conditions, be given credit for prior service with the following entities:
• Commonwealth and other state public services;
• Statutory authorities;
• Public hospitals;
• Local government; and
• Tertiary educational institutions.
