To apply for a Public Practice Certificate, you must also have the required practical experience – three years of experience in a public practice office [By-Law 704.1(g)(i)], or three years of experience in a responsible position in one or more of the areas defined as constituting public accounting services [By-Law 704.1(g)(ii)].
I finished all my CPA exams. Yesterday I knew the result for my last two exams-both pass. CPA is not that hard. As long as you have time, most of the people can pass it. The pass rate is around 70-80 percent. Compare to CA, i think CA is harder. One of my colleague chose CA, he needs to attend the workshop, do the presentation and some assignment as well. CA’s exam like uni exam. You need to write down the calculation and all the procedure to get the right answer. While for CPA, just do the corresponding study. And the exams are all multiple choices except the last compulsory subject-business leadership and strategy.
