请问在澳洲工作的IT同志们，口语到底需要怎样的程度？

看来很多IT 招聘广告，几乎各个要EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILL， 看到这个就不敢投了。想问问已经在工作的朋友，你们感觉有那么高要求么？

If your skills are good enough to cover your English problem, you can still get that job, but you need quite much lucky.
No companies want deaf and dumb.

Do you mean IT support role? If they require you to talk on the phone, you must have a good phone manner and good communication and LISTENING skills.
If it is a IT technician or PC support role, as long as you have relevant skills, you don't really need to communicate a lot during your work.
But anyway, you have to have ability to communicate.

It is hard to improve communication skills in a short time, what you can do is:
(1) Practise the conversation for phone interview, do preparation for answers to the possible questions.

If you are lucky, you can go further with your job application. Be confident.
