I will have an eye test tomorrow. It is covered by Medicare. There are some packages includes frame and lense that cost you 99/199/299. For branded frame, that would be expensive.

镜片贵，框架也贵，隐形更贵，验光师倒是med care可以报销，不过一年一次。镜片低度数最普通，100+，镜框最普通，没牌子，100+，隐形比较好的牌子，月抛半年量300+。。。。。大概是这个样子，不过质量还是很好地，我觉得比中国便宜的眼镜好很多。。。。

我们在澳洲配过有5副眼镜，在国内配过无数副。总体觉得澳洲的眼镜镜片质量好，但做工一般。怎么说一般呢，就是它的镜片只是用机器切割加工完之后，就没有手工抛光边缘。所以我配的半框和无框眼镜看起来就不如国内眼镜城配的好看。
不过我是较浅的近视，镜片好坏对我来说感受不大。而在国内眼镜城，我是可以特别要求师傅给我边缘抛光成某种要求的。
所以我觉得这里的眼镜并没有给我特别好的感觉。我也观察过朋友声称特别清楚的眼镜，貌似找不到任何亮点。
我觉得这边的眼镜就是利润比国内高n倍，材料比国内好一点。

We went Kuala Lumpur for holiday last month and got one pair glasses for hubby, it's way cheaper than in Perth, my housemate got excatly same model designer frame in Perth cost him $300+ ( frame only ), it only cost us $200 ( included very good lenses and eye test ),

the service was great. we didnt have any appointment just walked in and wait for an hour to get the glasses.

If you are rush to get one, then money wont be the matter. if you could wait, just wait the special airfare from airasia / jetstar. then you can do the shopping and also the holiday!

Everything is way cheaper than here!

澳洲还有免费配眼镜的地方哦。只需要花邮费约10刀。回头我找找看。
