Should media report details of crime to the public or not?

080816 Academic Task2:
Some people think that media should not report details of crime to the public. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are three reasons why I think media shouldn not report details of crimes.

The first reason is that details of crimes can teach some persons who wanted to crime but did not know the method to crime find  ways to do evil things.

The second reason is that details can evoke victims' painful memories about the crimes and deprive of their privacy and dignity.

The third reason is that details of crime might make the criminals who wanted to have fun from the crimes feel happy and encourage them commit crimes again.

发表这个辩论的用意是锻炼关于犯罪、媒体方面的词汇量和思维。大家还可以结合中文的《弟子规》里相关的观点比如说“扬人恶，既是恶；疾之甚，祸且作”的观点来分析。
当然也可以从反方分析，比如说青山同学要是来辩论的话，他可能就是持相反的意见的，然后他会有相应的观点等等。
