Aged Care Education and Training Incentive program
The Aged Care Education and Training Incentive (ACETI) program provides payments to eligible aged care workers who undertake accredited education and training programs.
The ACETI program encourages aged care workers to undertake further studies to enhance their career as a personal care worker, as a registered nurse or as an enrolled nurse. This builds on existing workplace training programs that support people working in the aged care sector who undertake further studies to upgrade their qualifications.
To be eligible for an incentive payment, aged care workers must start training between 1 July 2010 and 30 June 2014. Incentive payments will be made as two part payments – a commencement payment and a completion payment. To apply for this incentive you will need to complete the:
· Aged Care Education and Training Incentive program application form—commencement payment
· Aged Care Education and Training Incentive program application form—completion payment
Refer to the ACETI Guidelines for Applicants for additional information regarding eligibility, course information and application requirements.
