Christmas lights electrical safety recall

The Electrical Safety Office advises that several Christmas rope lights are being recalled by Woolworths Limited, Masters Home Improvement and Big W.

These lights may have exposed live wires that could lead to an electric shock or potential fire hazard.

The product recalls includes 19 different types of rope lights across the three stores. Details of these products are available on the Electrical Safety Office website （http://www.justice.qld.gov.au/fa ... category=&mode=）.

Anyone who has purchased a rope light from these stores should unplug it immediately and check if it is included as one of those being recalled. If so, return it to the store it was purchased from for a refund.
