I’m currently working with a Global Network Vendor who require a Senior Resident Support Engineer to join them on a 6 month contract based in Melbourne; you will be based on site with a leading Telco.

A brief overview of the role is below;

The Onsite Senior Resident Support Engineer relies on experience and judgment to plan and perform a variety of complicated tasks in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is necessary. Specifically, the Onsite Senior Resident Support Engineer is responsible for providing onsite post sales technical support to one specific customer.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical customer issues associated with Network equipment on-site at the customer site.
Performing, as required, on-site upgrade activities or investigations of reported problems
Maintaining on-call phone availability
IP Networking and Security experience desirable
