我20岁时的衣着老气,40岁时衣着年轻。
I was totally the opposite in this sense!
When I was young, I was lack of confidence in my appearance. To make myself look lovely, I spent so much time on what I had to wear.
Some of my then-dresses are still in fashion now, my daughter even considers putting them back on herself.
When I grow much older, I just took onboard so much irrational confidence in myself that I don't think my attraction is not reflected on how I dress up any more----Heeheeheee.
So, nowadays, for 5 days a week, I just wear scrubs, which is professionally mandatory. For the remaining 2 days I don't have to work, I wear sweaty pants, jumper or cardigan, with my mountain sneakers on feet, all of them are drenched in Harvey's smell.
Amazingly enough, Harvey and I just feel so confident walking around with our heads held up high (Well, mostly me, because Harvey has been always busy searching something on the ground to chew) in the neighborhood, like we are marching through a remarkable social event.
What takes me by surprise more is all the pooch-owners we run into on the walking track don't mind how we look, they just love to stop for a few minutes, talking about weather and our pooches.
Haaahaaa, that tricks me into belief that I don't have to dress up meticulously to feel good about myself.
Sorry, Rondy and @MICHELLE07 I couldn't make any constructive contribution to this topic, just put something out there for you guys to have a good laugh.
