标题: SAP澳洲工作经验分享
找工作对任何技术移民是一件极其痛苦而又不得不面对的事情，IT工作尤其如此，你要把自己的专业技能，工作经验，行业知识等短时间内烂熟于心，并且要在简历里充分体现，面试里集中发挥。可以说找工作的过程可以使你痛不欲生，但是当你经过努力，手里拿到offer的时候又会有种浴火重生，脱胎换骨的喜悦。
我想在这里介绍一下SAP在澳洲找工作的经验，SAP顾问分两大类，Technical 和 Functional，因为我是做SAP的，偏技术方面，了解SAP的应该知道做SAP技术的叫BASIS/NetWeaver，大概就是给使用SAP的客户安装，配置并支持SAP系统。

SAP的工作机会应该跟其他IT工作机会一样主要来源于以下三个方面：
一，
招聘网站 (例如： www.seek.com.au)
二，
公司网站 (例如：http://www.ibm.com/au/en/ )
三，
中介（例如：www.everjoy.com.au ）

当然如果你有朋友在澳洲做SAP可以考虑让他们推荐，因为有一些职位是在没有发布到网上或中介手里的时候就已经内部消化掉了。当然你还要关注 linkedin, 中介和雇主都有职位发布。
开个贴根据自己的经验尽量给SAP想来澳洲的同学介绍一下，其他IT同胞觉得有意思也可以捧个场，本人能力经验都还有限，希望多指教。

以下数据是以Melbourne为例，城市之间会有区别但是不是特别明显，薪水区别主要是在于个人能力，工作经验，行业经验。

如何跟SAP中介打交道

中介这里的水很深，而且中介的水平也参差不齐，接触的中介多了自然就能分清其水平及能力。流程基本上就是网上搜索--> 锁定职位 -->联系中介(email 或电话) --> 中介面试 --> 雇主面试--> 成功或失败。

初级中介：入行只有1-3年，一般水平比较差，看简历也只凭关键字匹配，他们手里的职位信息来源也比较单一，基本上就是SAP客户公司网站上的职位，他们不知道你的技能，经验所在，所以无法给你进行准确的职业定位。应付这样的中介，需要耐心，也别太指望他们帮你推荐的职位会有确定的面试机会，因为他们在雇主那里的Credit也不高。

中级中介：入行 3 -5年，参加过SAP基础培训，或兼有一些顾问经历，他们信息来源会比较广泛，可能会直接来源于客户和项目。他们会从你的简历里分析出你的技能，项目经验。应付这样的中介，需要认真仔细，你可以问他们雇主或项目的实际需求是如何，简历如何修改才会符合雇主要求，他们一般比较有经验，因为他们投给雇主的简历一定是觉得你很匹配这个职位，所以得到雇主面试的机会很大，多跟他们联系，E-mail，电话，一个好的中介会帮你彻底找到工作为至。

高级中介：入行超过5年，有广泛的客户基础和项目信息，可能本身就是Consulting公司并提供SAP Contractor Management，就是你作为顾问可以和这个中介公司签工作合同，这个中介公司给你发工资并提供福利保险等。由于他们本身有很多顾问资源，所以他们发布出来的职位一般都是内部资源用的差不多了，注意这样的工作的职位一般都是资深的职位，所以一些初级中级得顾问只能往其兴叹，比如需要10-15年的行业经验，你会想，真需要我变老你才要我吗？

职业发展浅谈
做SAP这行的，按工作性质分大概分以下几种：
1，SAP Analyst/Consultant (甲方)：比如你在BHP工作，你的公司上了SAP的系统，由Consulting公司实施结束go-live后，日常运营后，这时公司需要相关模块的Functional顾问和Technical顾问工作来满足公司日常和不断增长的业务需求。拿一个模块举例，你如果是HR顾问，就需要每个月Run Payroll给BHP员工发工资，做报表，发现不能满足功能，就要ABAPer来开发程序，开发结束后就需要SAP Basis Administrator把程序从开发系统（DEV）转移到质量控制（QAS）和生产系统里（PRD）。所以公司需要维持一定数量的顾问和IT人员来维护和支持SAP系统的正常运营。
基础年薪： 60，000-100，000
2，SAP Consultants(乙方)：比如你在IBM或HP的SAP Consultant部门工作，任务就是跟着项目和客户走，从需求分析(Customer Requriement)到业务蓝图（Blueprint），功能设计(Design)，功能实现(Realization)，安装(Deployment)最后准备(Final Preparation)，上线(Go-live)，上线后支持(Go-live support)，大概走完这些流程叫做一个项目周期(Full-life Cycle Implementation). 这个项目周期SAP Consultants的角色差不多是这样，Sales和Pre-sales打完单后（把SAP的模块打包塞给客户，大概算一下License多少，软硬件多少钱，Maintenance多少钱等等），SAP的顾问上，跟客户进行需求分析把企业蓝图做出来，然后进行功能设计，之后等软硬件一到位，SAP Basis开始安装SAP系统，构建SAP的Landscape. 系统安装完毕后，各种模块顾问各归其位，进行功能定制(Customizing)的过程。最后把老系统导数据导入SAP系统，做测试，客户满意后，上线。所以在乙方的顾问大多是全职顾问，有可能做几个月就调到其他项目上，有可能在一个项目一做就是几年。
基础年薪： 70，000-130,000
3，SAP Contractor/Free Lancer: SAP民工最高境界，一般也要个5年以上做过两个完整的项目周期的的经验才能被客户所接受。工作跟项目走，从几周到12个月都有，由于项目按月/周算，所以工资也按小时和天算。
工资范围：600-1200/day
以上是SAP职业大致的职业发展方向，对不起，没有把项目经理和SAP Presales, Principal Consultant放进来。因为水平有限，也不太了解，再说这些人不属于SAP民工级别，以后如果有机会了解再放进来吧。

小弟不是这行的，不过跟公司做SAP的熟一点，只是发表一下旁观者的想法。
好像SAP不用作编程，只是理清流程。
LZ说的对，很多时候都内部消化了。可是，有的人以前是客服，摇身一变，SAP ANALYST了。有的是会计，一变也成SAP EXPERT 了。好像不用科班出身。

看到我的朋友花很多钱去学，有点可惜了。

好像只要公司让你做，谁都能做，，，

SAP Functional顾问不需要科班出身，也不需要编程经验，但是需要一定的行业经验，SAP就是一套软件用来实现企业ERP的应用需要。
但是SAP不能满足所有客户需求，这样需要二次开发，所以SAP ABAP顾问就是开发基于SAP的新的功能，如果企业本身有其他软件，还需要有经验的SAP集成顾问（SAP PI）来整合企业的异构应用。

確實，如果是functional的話，對不同行業業務流程的了解以及實施經驗，比技術要求重要高。技術方面，看看SAP library/GOOGLE一下就知道了，實施經驗卻要時間和行業的長時間積累。

謝謝LZ提供的信息，這位兄弟，我剛去SEEK.COM.AU看了一下，SAP的機會多得一塌糊塗。

居然還有這樣的職位：
2 x SAP Project Manager 1x Brisbane 1x 1 Overseas
Mongolian Based- Sap Rollout Project Manager (Mongolia Based- Travel allowance- Accommodation and expenses paid for)

這個職位，絕對可以做到稅後，扣除所有生活成本後，年收入超過$120K.

告诫各位兄弟，如果SAP没有做过programme或者codeing的经验，是不能写好function sepc的，
基本的consultant都需要有coding经验。
如果可以做到key user，入门就算OK了。

哈哈，你讓我寫的百幾個Function Spec情何以堪吖...
不過，debug,讀CODE是會的，當英文閱讀理解看就好了。

我很多同事都沒有coding經驗的，一樣做的挺好的。

SAP流程，流程，還是流程。流程下來再談方案，方案最好都配置出來，或者改變流程。做CODING是LAST CHOICE，因為說不定那個PATCH一上，什麼時候系統做個升級，customized coding就要悲劇了。為了客戶好，還是少做customized coding。

你搜索其他關鍵字難道沒有水分嗎？

如果你是行內人士，應該知道SAP是最適合OFFSHORE，新移民申請的。比如Accenture對OFFSHORE都會提供457簽證。大部分職位都要求multinational expenrience,而不是澳洲本地經驗。

還有那些行業可以做到這樣，不妨說來聽聽？

恭喜你打开了通向新世界的大门。有时候觉得这扇大门对于站在门外的人来说，就是一个钢筋混泥土，外加大铁皮的怪物，无缝还死沉的。但是一旦你站在门里面，可能再看他，觉得也就是一个普通的门。不幸的是我还在门外，啥时候能回到我的SAP世界啊。

HR Module是SAP客户100%必上的传统模块，职位多，但是好像大多被企业内部消化，你要是应聘Consultant公司的职位的话要求比较高，一般10年8年经验是需要的。

如果是Accounting，应该是往 FI/CO靠吧，公司用SAP的话，至少有SAP的User吧，想要系统的学习最终成为SAP顾问的话，你现在的机会不错，跟你们SAP部门熟吗，弄一个QA系统的User,借着测试的名义学习，要是有Money的话参加一下SAP Education的顾问课程不错，混了认证又有经验以后就好办了。

这个还真不知道，我办的时候SAP是紧缺，还加了15分。
个人感觉你要是Basis, BI, Portal的话应该跟System Analyst比较靠，要是Functional顾问的话应该往Business Analyst靠吧，这个不敢说。

You can take some SAP FICO course in China, it's about CNY 50000 for 4 weeks training. It's about half of the price in Australia.
While just like graduate from college, you still need to learn many things from daily work (with using SAP or SAP implememtation). If you are SAP user already, maybe you do not need to spend money for training.

If you choose SAP career, it's gonna be a job through your whole life, you need to learn from the first day until you retire.

Anyway, it is a good choice if you had relevant experience already.

VU 课程比较全，而UTS只有FICO相关的专业，列出如下

Graduate Certificate of Accounting Information System
Master of Business in Accounting Information System
MBA in Accounting information system

当中你会修两门课， accounting and ERP 还有 assurance for enterprise system, 这两门课修完，你就可以直接考 SAP FICO认证了，俺读的是Graduate Certificate of Accounting Information Syste, 刚刚考过FICO认证，如果有认真学的话，考证不难。

Earn a competitive advantage in the job market. SAP ERP (formerly known as my SAP ERP) skills are becomingly increasingly necessary for more and more positions in accounting and finance. The vast majority of large and medium-sized international and local organisations use ERP software for financial accounting, and software giant SAP is the market-leader both locally and overseas.

This six-day course introduces you to SAP ERP. It provides advanced skills in configuring and using the financial accounting components and assists in understanding the integration of accounting and other components in SAP ERP.

Course Objectives
In particular, this SAP training program aims to facilitate participant knowledge and skills to:

Understand the architecture, components, terminology and functionality of SAP ERP
Understand the specifics of integrated accounting processes in SAP ERP
Demonstrate a deeper understanding of the SAP ERP FINANCIALS -- in particular the organisational model, basic configuration, master data management and key processes for accounting in an Australian and international setting -- and the integration of financials and logistics
Understand parameters and features of SAP ERP which allow you to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of accounting
Use SAP ERP for integrated and automated transaction processing and financial reporting.

This SAP training program addresses individuals with no or very limited knowledge of/skills in SAP solutions who want to add SAP ERP skills to their profile. It is particularly useful for:

Accountants who want to gain access to new segments in the accounting job market or new positions within their current organisations
IT/IS experts who want to gain a better understanding of the core business/accounting processes in SAP ERP
Middle and lower managers who want gain a better understanding of the accounting and control functionality of SAP ERP and how SAP accounting can deliver value for an organisation.

Program
Topics covered over the six days will include:

Introduction to SAP ERP: Architecture, Components,Terminology and Functionality
SAP ERP hands-on: User-interface and Navigation
Business Configuration and Control: Introduction to SAP ERP "Customising"
Transactions, Master Data Management and Automation in:
      General Ledger Accounting
      Accounts Payables
      Accounts Receivables and Credit Management
      Asset Accounting
      Reporting
      Integration of Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting
      Integration of Financial Accounting and Logistics.

Software
Students will work on individual PCs accessing the UTS SAP ERP 2005 (ECC 6.0) system. In addition students will be issued with desktop software which allows them to access the UTS SAP system via the Internet.

About the Presenter -
Dr. Bernhard Wieder BBus, MBus, PhD (WU Vienna)

Dr. Bernhard Wieder is Associate Professor Business Information Systems Programs and SAP-University Alliance Manager at UTS. Over the past six years, Bernhard developed and implemented a top-rated postgraduate curriculum and research program in integrated business information systems at UTS. He has taught advanced postgraduate courses (MBA, MBus,and ExecMBA) in accounting, operations management and information systems at Universities in Australia, Singapore and Austria.

Dr Bernhard specialises in management accounting concepts, operations management and enterprise-wide systems, particularly in relation to SAP solutions. Bernhard has more than 15 years SAP experience and has worked with industry partners and government agencies in Europe,Australia and North America.

Entry Requirements
This course is open to the public and has no formal entry requirements. However, it is highly recommended that participants be equipped with at least some basic knowledge of accounting terminology and processes.Participants without an accounting background should at least have a background in IT, and are encouraged to read the first few chapters of an introductory accounting textbook, examples of which can be found here.

Qualification/ Pathway
A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all qualifying students on course completion.

Participants who pass the optional 2-hour examination will also receive a special SAP ERP Certificate issued jointly by UTS and SAP Australia/NZ.

Certificate 1 in Accounting with SAP ERP is not specifically linked to a UTS award course, however it does constitute step 1 in a 3-step path leading to SAP Solution Consultant Certification in Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 2005. Students who have completed Certificate 1 in Accounting with SAP ERP, may then progress to Certificate 2 (six days) and Certificate 3 (two days). This training course may contribute to your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) requirements.

好贴要顶。本人也是做SAP SD/MM 顾问的，来澳洲有4个多月了，目前为止只做了个3星期的超短合同。感觉SAP BW，Bi, FICO 的需求很大，而且很多都要求有金融，养老金，零售行业经验。

SD/MM 这些模块在这里还是需求很多的，不过好像CRM，BIBO更多职位.
