标题: 不确定whether用的对不对，望指正
In this day and age, whether young children can be negatively affected by spending too much time on a computer every day has been a topic of discussion. Personally, I tend to agree with this view, but with reservations.

我写的雅思作文的首段，不确定挂上whether的观点，是否明确，我后边可以说同意这个观点么？因为我总觉得whether带有是否得意思，也就是观点不明确？盼英语达人指点。

这个表达观点的方式也太抖和了。personally，tend to。。。假如你是来persuade我的话，我听都不听就跑了。你自己连表达个观点都没底气，我还听你下面大篇废话干啥。

whether可以引导主语从句，这样用应该没错。但是貌似这样的主语太长，不考虑改变用词的情况下，我会把主语后置这样写

how can you use TWO conjunctions TOGETHER? It is grammatically wrong.你应该看一下从句的最基本的语法。初中2年级的语法书就可以了。

that is not necessary here, as whether already serves as a conjunction.

Basically, I don't think this is a good sentence. Rather, I think it is rubbish. Why? it is a topic of discussion--of course it is a topic of discussion.还用得着你来讲？also, a topic of discussion--任何事情都可以作为a topic of discussion.这句话也没说出程度上的问题。不是所有的topic of discussion都值得人去pay attention to的。大多数的topic of discussion都没啥值得看的。

so You gonna say, this topic actually is so focused, that we need to take it out from so many topics of discussion that it worth debating/arguing/getting a result?

what about:

it is a heated debate whether...
