Now into it's ninth year the annual Seven Bridges Walk will return on Sunday 26 October 2014 bigger and better than ever.

Now into it's eighth year the annual Seven Bridges Walk will return on Sunday 27 October 2013 bigger and better than ever.

Now into it's seventh year the annual Seven Bridges Walk will return on Sunday 28 October 2012 bigger and better than ever.

Now into it's sixth year the annual Seven Bridges Walk will return on Sunday 30 October 2011 bigger and better than ever.

Now into it's fifth year the annual Seven Bridges Walk will return on Sunday 31 October 2010 bigger and better than ever.

You can register http://www.everydayhero.com.au/registrations/list/41 for the event from now by following the links on this site. This is a great day out for the whole family and it is FREE in last four year, but costs $10 each this year.

The event is a great way to see Sydney, benefit your health, join in a great community activity and raise money for charities. You can donate online or at any of the event villages or bridges along theway.

It is not a race and everyone is a winner. You can start at any of the seven event villages and walk clockwise around as much or little of the 25km closed loop circuit as you like. As part of the new offeringsfor the Seven Bridges Walk villages this year there will  be food, music and activities at each of the locations.

The course and facilities will be open from 8am - 5pm on event day.

Participants can start at any village, where they can pick up their event passport which includes a course map.

There will be water stations at each village for participants to fill up their own water bottles.

Around the course participants will use existing pathways and will therefore need to abide by normal pedestrian road rules.

No special event clearways or road closures will be in place. Therewill be road closures for Breakfast On The Bridge, please seerta.nsw.gov.au/newsevents for details

All participants walk in a clockwise direction only, this is to ease congestion and make the walk safer for all.

Let us go to Seven Bridges Walk on Oct 31, 2010 for regular Sunday bushwalking/hiking around Sydney.

Outdoor activities carry their ownrisks of injury and death. The Organizer has no any control over whatthe participant does, and cannot accept any liability for any loss oraccidents which the participant might suffer.

Everyone could collect "Passport" and start at any village even you choose the favour starting point in registration.

You could make donation at any village and any time.

The Rocks village is easy point to start,  but queue is always longer, while Milsons Point village is much less.  In 2009, I caught train to Circular Quay, walked to The Rocks Village firstly before crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Milsons Point village to collect passport and met some of us.

不要满足自己的腐败的肚子先,要walking for the people who suffer and need help first.

Weather in Sydney for this Sunday is much better than that in Blue Mountains region last Sunday (see Photos).

In addition, the weather is also better than that on Oct 25, 2009 when we had "Seven Bridges and Seven Villages Walk Sydney"

Having a cup of coffee or FB after walking would be lovely.

We should change title to

for eight of us.

It is almost time again for 2011

Oct 30, 2011 last Sunday

walking seven bridge and seven village.

Registrations are now open for the 2011 Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk!
Thank you for taking part in Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk in 2010.

The sixth annual Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk is on Sunday 30 October 2011. The event is a great day out for the whole family and provides a unique experience around beautiful Sydney Harbour.

You can walk all, or part of the 27km clock wise course, which crosses the seven iconic bridges of Sydney Harbour. The bridges include Sydney Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, ANZAC Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge, Gladesville Bridge, Tarban Creek Bridge and Fig Tree Bridge.

Free Event Transport is available to registered walkers should you not wish to complete the full course.
This year, Free Event Buses will be travelling in both directions around the course.

How to Register:

To register to take part in Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk visit 7bridgeswalk.com.au

The entry fee is $15 (incl. GST) for participants aged 12 and over. Children under 12 can participate for FREE. To avoid long queues on the day, it is recommended that you register online prior to the event.

Please print your ‘E-Ticket’ (emailed to you with the title 'Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges
Walk E-Ticket'). You can present your E-Ticket at one of the seven event Villages on Sunday 30 October 2011 to receive your Official Event Passport, which includes the 2011 course map, and your Official Event Wristband.

How to Fundraise:

Upon registering, you will be provided with a fundraising page so that you can help raise much-needed funds for Cancer Council NSW. You will receive two fundraising emails, one with the link to your dedicated individual or team fundraising page and another with your username and password. Alternatively you can make a donation to Cancer Council NSW when you register. Fundraising and donations are optional.

How to Become a Volunteer:

If you would like to get more involved in the day, you can register to be a volunteer here.

There are many ways that you can help out! No prior volunteering experience is necessary and you will  meet some friendly people whilst you help make the day a success for participants.

Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk, it’s a great way to get active and experience some of  Sydney’s most spectacular harbour views.

We hope to see you again this year!

Regards,

The Cancer Council NSW Seven Bridges Walk Team

33.850655,151.153572 wolseley st &  Victoria Rd Drummoyne NSW 2047, Australia

It is really good idea.

I remembered we started at Millson Point at 8:00 am and Overseas Passenger Terminal at 8:30 am, we would do this year at the same meeting time and place.

In order to walk over 10 bridges and 40-50 km, we may start walk at the 4th bridge (harbour bridge is the 1st), beyond ANZAC bridge before 5:00 am, so we could meet most of us at Millson Point ca 8:00 am.

Let us try.
