标题: who can help me....
Anyone can help?

Laptop:
-Toshiba A500/01m (C2D, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD)
-Win 7 Home 32 bits preinstalled
-Under Warranty

Situation:
-Recieved the machine yesterday, wanted to upgrade to 64 bits
-During the recovery a 10 months old baby bashed the keyboard and cancelled the operation....(I should buy the 50m lottery)
-Now only all partitions gone except [systemrecovery]
-Cannot boot the machine with HDD now as boot partition has gone
-have not created recovery disc yet.....
-Scan the HDD with TestDisk, found two deleted partitions [C] and [SW] but they are FAT32, strange...
-Will try to recover the deleted partitions tonight

Questions:
1. What is the default partition structure for A500 (Win7)?
2. Is there any one can tell me the file list of boot partition? I need the list to confirm I am recovering the correct partition.
3. If i go for Toshiba, is there any cost for recovering the system? I had put all my money on this laptop, cannot afford 50 bucks for a pair of disks.
4. Any other advice?

If the computer is running, shut it down -- by clicking Start, Shut Down, and again Shut Down.

Press and hold the 0 (zero) key on your keyboard and then press the computers power switch. When the computer turns on, the Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility screen will appear, presenting three options:

Is this function embeded in to the bios? Will try it tonight, Thanks Kane.
