I regret to inform you that the occupation of translator was not included on the new SOL. Translators thus cannot migrate through the independant GSM pathway once the new SOL commences. A translator may still be sponsorded by an employer through temporary business (long stay), Standard business sponsorship (subclass 457), or the employer nomination scheme (subclass 121 and 856)
i note that you raise the issue of age points within the GSM points test. the government is currently undertaking a review of the GSM points test. your views have been noted and will be included as part of the GSM points test review.
