标题: I have found a problem when I was doing the Listening !!!
I could not type Chinese at the moment, just in English trying to explain my problems here.

every time when I was doing my listening, at the first time I could not understand the topic if I donot look at the tapescript, then I started to read the tapescript first, and find out the new words, then read it carefully for at least one time, and then I listen to it again, and i could hear each word. Does this usually happen to every one? or is it a big problem? because i thought if i were in the real word to listen to something, there is no subtitle or tapescripts here, so how can i underestand it without the subtitle?

So is that every time before I listening to something, read the tapescripts first??? or just donot look at it and just listening and listening it agian until u understand most of it? How do u guys always do it ?

give my opinion below
firstly,u are lacking of confidence.
secondly and most importantly,u still keep thinking in Chinese, try your best to change it ,it is essential to make it different
lastly,like above saying,practice make perfect, u had to do as more exceise as u can~

you can skip small words like"a, an, the,and" but try to catch most meaningful words while listening.
try not to read any text b4 listening, it can help u to understand by ears not by eyes.

I used to experience the same difficulty in catching the meaning of the listening materials as yours. I overcame it by dictation- writing down each word as you listening. I know it is hard, but it is a way to improve your listening.
