Life is too short to drink bad wines is my ex boss's famous words. I am not an expert of wine, nor is my LG. However, good wines do make me feel good. Particularly white wines – almost all sorts of Australia and New Zealand white wines work just well with me. It's not because I dislike red wines. Red wines can taste perfect but sometimes my body is strongly against them – I could get a 24 hours continuous headache if I drank the wrong red wine.
We quickly bought a mixed dozen of red/white wines as the little one got hungry, ‘can't stand for even one second, mum’. Rushing to a closest restaurant we found there was almost nothing to eat for lunch except for all sorts of beautiful cakes – one more blame to the bad economy. Anyway, my son got very happy as cakes were just what he wanted, so a pure cake lunch with 2 cups of cappuccino was all we had– good or bad for dieting?
If you go to Hunter Valley, you must pay a visit to The Entrance (http://www.theentrance.org )– really a great recommendation by my friend. The Entrance is an ideal place for kids, eg. Vera's Water Garden. But the most famous activity there is Pelican Feeding which operates at 3:30pm every day (http://www.theentrance.org/pelican_feeding.html ). We got to the Entrance at around 3:00pm so the little one did not miss anything, including a 1 and half hours sleep in the car on the way there.
Have taken some photos – not perfect ones but good enough for memory:)
