原来Google code project hosting服务只支持subversion,现在提供了另一种DCVS版本控制系统的选择Mercurial, 相对于subversion, Mercurial是和git类似的分布式版本控制系统(DCVS)。

采用Mercurial管理的著名项目有Mozilla, Netbeans, Python,OpenSolaris,Xen等，这里是完整列表。

由于Mercurial是采用Python编写的，被Google选中也是理所当然的事情了。
