Functional English Language Ability
*** is required to provide evidence of having at least functional English as described in the
attachment 'English Language Requirements'. If this attachment has not been provided, please contact this office to obtain a copy.
If *** cannot provide the required evidence of English language ability they may choose to pay the
appropriate “2nd Visa Application Charge (VAC) (English)" or sit an IELTS test. If the applicant/s intend to pay the 2nd VAC for English please advise this office accordingly.
Please note that applicants intending to pay this charge do not need to make the payment until they are asked to do so by this office.

Medical checks - If the applicant (your wife) does not want to undergo the
health checks (the X-ray) while pregnant, we will then place the
application on hold until after the birth of the child.
It is also advisable that all family members delay intigating their health
and character checks "until after" the birth of the child if this is the
case to ensure that you do not incur costs that can be avoided.
Upon the birth of your child, all members of your family unit will then be
requested to undergo health checks.
