Adelaide University Badminton Club
Welcome to the Adelaide University Badminton Club. For over 50 years the club has been offering the University community the opportunity to participate in social games and competition matches. The club is affiliated with SABA (South Australia Badminton Association), which is in turn affiliated with Badminton Australia.
For 2007 the club offers a social membership. The sessions are held on Sunday Afternoons at St Peters College Gymnasium Complex, located on Hackney Road . The session goes from 4.00-6.00 pm.
We have just recently started offering coaching, free of charge. If interested just come to one of the training session and express your interest to one of the committee members.
Membership fees for a whole year are $69, this includes $25 to join the badminton club and $44 for the sports association fee.
What If I Don't Have A Racket? The club has a number of rackets for hire during social trainings @ $2 per racket. Club members receive free racket hire.
What If I Want To Play Without Joining? If you do not wish to become a member, you may still play on a casual basis on Sunday evenings. The cost is just $6 per session.
