动物园猩猩无辜被杀肇事童父母成箭靶

【路边社2016年05月30日讯】（中央社俄亥俄州辛辛那提29日综合外电报导）美国辛辛那提动物园发生小男孩闯入大猩猩展示区，导致大猩猩遭射杀事件后，舆论哗然，纷纷要求孩子父母负起刑事责任；保护动物团体更呼吁，勿再囚禁大猩猩。

1名4岁男童昨天爬过围篱，掉进大猩猩展示区后，17岁大猩猩“哈拉比”（Harambe）用手抓住男童。辛辛那提动物园（Cincinnati Zoo）担心大猩猩危及男孩性命，于是开枪射杀哈拉比。

当时用手机拍下事件片段的目击者欧康纳（Kimberly Ann Perkins O’Connor）告诉美国有线电视新闻网（CNN），男孩爬过围篱，从约4米多的高度掉下大猩猩居住区外围壕沟，不仅引发现场群众惊声尖叫，也引起哈拉比注意。

欧康纳说，一开始，哈拉比似乎试图帮助男孩，拉起他并抓住他的裤子，但群众喧闹声越来越大，哈拉比又把小孩丢到壕沟的角落。

欧康纳是这个时候开始拍摄影片，可看到哈拉比走到角落，用身体遮蔽男孩，孩子的母亲则尖叫：“妈妈在这里！”

但欧康纳指出，群众的狂喊声似乎让哈拉比再度焦虑起来，影片显示它抓住男孩腿部，将他拖行横跨水面，最后拖出壕沟至栖息地。

到了此时，欧康纳说“状况不大妙”，因为男孩试图逃离大猩猩，但哈拉比“动作激烈”地将他拉回，“真的没有要让他离开的样子”。

欧康纳离开时，园方尚未射杀哈拉比。

事后，许多人不满无辜大猩猩遭到杀害，更不满孩童父母未遭到控告，因此纷纷上Change.org签署请愿书，要求孩子的父母负起刑事责任。

也有不少人认为园方以过度武力因应整起事件，CNN网站报导，示威者今天聚集在动物园外呼吁抵制动物园。

善待动物组织（PETA）则在推特上发文：“勿囚禁大猩猩与其他灵长类动物。”

There is no guarantee that the gorilla wont kill the boy or hurt the boy. I will pull the trigger as well if I was the decision maker at the scene.

Human should take it, not the gorilla or tiger. That's not their faults.

Mate, if you and your kids encounter a gorilla in a tropical forest and your kids are grabbed by the beast, will you let it take your kids or shoot the beast at the scene if you have a gun?

If it is in a forest, it is a different situation. We took freedom from that gorilla.

Stop being false. As the most intelligent species on earth, we are taking freedom and lives away from thousands of animals every single day, under necessary or unnecessary circumstances. And now we are blaming killing a gorilla under the most urgent and necessary situation?! HEY, what are our intelligent and rationality?

An intelligent person should not only think about himself/herself. That is not a good excuse to kill other creatures.
