标题: 请问澳洲数控机床( CNC )操作工作前景？（也发了珀斯版-~-） [打印本页]

标题: 请问澳洲数控机床( CNC )操作工作前景？（也发了珀斯版-~-）
长登半年多，投简历seek上100余，无面试，无结果。
之前国内工作7年。大机械类。请问各位前辈，如果打算下学期去polytechnic学习一年半的 CNC数控机床课程，出来后
1）找工作会容易些么？
2）澳洲的机床操作工薪水大概范围是多少？

why not welder or fabricator?
I believe there are much more jobs than CNC. The salary is from $19/h to $35/h, which is always than CNC.

我以前工作的公司的有的客户有一台非常高档的数控机床，他们是做铝合金窗框的，我不知道他们的收入啦

做welder的话那辐射对男人来说可能会影响子孙后代啦

我们单位有一个印度同事移民之前也是在新加坡做这个的，但是据他反映，工作几乎没有，他base在墨尔本，现在做store person

There are lots of job for welder and fabrication. It is not hard to get a job. I would say these kind of job are not your long life job. If you are a mechanical engineer , you have done some design and drafting before. It is quite easy to change your position as drafter or engineer even in your fabrication company. Also, the experience as a boilmaker would add valuable points when you come back as engineer or drafter.

More or less. There are a lot of welder and fabricator. I have not heard some serious hurt.
What is your job now?

I've been trying to get a drafter job, mechanical drafter, HVAC drafter or similar. Haven't got one, but still trying.
I also considered welder, fitter or boilermaker or similar, seems all of these need a 3 year or 4 year (?) apprenticeship?
And it seems it is not so easy for a 30+ years older man, newly arrived migrant to get a apprenticeship position successfully? (agree?) Many employers would rather recruit local teenager?

Will search more on whether its suitable to seek a 3 or 4 year apprenticeship as a boilermaker or fitter or welder..

我也是大机械，5年工作经验，我是略有点我在国内所谓的机械设计经验就是没有含量的画图，也在考虑赚行做钳工一类的。如果直接拿到钳工证书了也就涵盖了CNC的机床操作了。

另外，有一点可以和您分享，年龄超过25+的有那个 adult apprentice incentive，好像学徒会缩短到2年，我没找到具体的网页所以不确定，你可以去确认下，如果只是2年学徒可以考虑。只是不知道fitter是不是一条可持续发展的道路。

Mechanical fitter is good. For there are a lot of maintenance jobs, which need mechanical fitter. Mechanical fitter is a branch of engineering. So there are also lots of courses such as: welding, CNC. There are less manufactureing jobs in Australia. But the maintenance jobs stilll be local, which can't be outsourced.
So, mechanical fitter is a good career.

大神了解fitter吗？能否给点职业规划发展tafe 课程选择薪资待遇工作内容方面的建议？
