Hello, I am John, from Australia. I am the same “John” that many people have written about on this forum, regarding IELTS.

Firstly, I would like to say thank you to all those people, my students, who have taken the time to write their thoughts about my teaching. I have had great pleasure in helping you to IELTS success, and although sometimes I may have been a little “grumpy” as some comments point out, there have been very strong reasons for that. Even so, I hereby make a public apology to all those student who may have been affected by my difficulties while living in the Philippines. My internet service there in the past was terrible, and that was mostly the reason for my frustration, not you guys...

Secondly, I plan to use my new membership of this forum to post regular advise about how to achieve IELTS success, and I can answer any questions (within reason) that you want to ask me. I am currently in Australia, and I have a stable Internet connection, so you can send any complex enquiries to me at gbsrt202564@gmail.com or my new business address advance21english@mail.com and I will respond to your questions.

In the future, I will be returning to the Philippines to live, but since I have been in Australia my partner has arranged an ADSL connection in the Philippines so my connection there when I return will be much better than before – in fact, similar to my current connection in Australia, so you can expect to see me continue my online activities for a long time yet.

I am one of John's students. I have just completed my IELTS exam last weekend and am waiting for the result.

John is the best English teacher I've experienced. He knows IETLS speaking test very well, and how to help the student to improve English. Most importantly, as a native speaker, he also can pick up your speaking mistake/habit that you even do not notice...He can be very "tough" (strict) on you, especially, you've not done your homework properly. But, we are all full-time workers, who want to improve our English in the spare time, a little push/pressure could really help a lot!!!

I found my IETLS speaking improved a lot after a 2 month class. I would recommend John to everyone who really wants to get help to do well in the IELTs test. Hope everything goes well with your life and be more popular among the Chinese community~~
