Elanda Point is the focal point for all adventures throughout the Cooloola Recreation Area.
At Elanda the Elanda Point Canoe Company hires canoes, touring kayaks and sea kayaks with rudders.
Canoes are 4.8m (16ft) fiberglass and plastic canoes capable of carrying 2 persons with camping gear or 3 persons without camping gear, there is an extra charge of $5 for the extra paddle and $5 for the extra buoyancy vest.
One person touring kayaks are 4.5m (15ft) plastic kayaks equipped with a cargo hatch at the rear, these kayaks have no rudder.
One person sea kayaks are 4.5m (15ft) plastic kayaks equipped with a cargo hatch back and front and are equipped with a rudder.
At Elanda Point for day use only they hire 1 & 2 paddle waveskis, sailboats, windsurfers for learners and motor boats.
