Translation of Documents
All documents that are not written in English must be translated and certified. A certified copy of the translated document and the primary foreign document is required.
Applications Submitted Within Australia
Acceptable translations may be obtained from translators accredited with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters NAATI.
Applications Submitted Outside Australia
Acceptable translations can be obtained from:
A Ministry of Justice or equivalent in the country where the qualification was obtained.
The Australian Education International Section (AEIS) at an Australian Diplomatic Mission.
Australian High Commission, Consulate or Embassy.
Private and Commercial Translators.
The Awarding Institution.
Overseas Translations

境外提交的用NAATI翻译件应当不会有问题,因为NAATI是它本国的认证机构。我想想,还有些细节需要注意:
1 做久了的译员都会在外交贸易部备一下案,就是签名和印章在那里有存底。这样不管哪个驻外使馆领馆都可以根据签名的存底对翻译件进行查验。有资质但没备案的译员,翻译件虽然有效但往往相关部门会打电话再调查一番,耽误些时间。要说这个,还是前些年一位拿着俺翻译件去什么地方开公司的客户提醒我去做的备案。还真是要谢谢他的提醒。
2 跟你要提交翻译件的单位确认一下,是不是提供翻译件的扫描件就可以。通常是可以的,包括DIAC。如果必须要翻译件的正本,就要考虑一下邮寄的时间和邮资成本。
3 如果用翻译件办的是很重要的事,翻译件应当有翻译公司的信笺抬头。有ABN或ACN号、办公地点、联系电话等信息。总之,要比较正式的翻译件。作者: symeteor 时间: 6-11-2012 12:56
