Infrastructure engineer
- Sydney North- up to $100,000 base + super
The position will work as a member of the Asia Pacific Infrastructure team to ensure availability and access to critical IT systems and services.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and maintenance of the Regional IT infrastructure: Microsoft Active Directory Domain, Exchange Email, IP Telephony systems, Servers, Routers, Switches, Wireless and network related systems.
- Ensure systems and network availability.
- Project management and change management of approved IT related projects.
- Maintain security and assure compliance with SOX and corporate internal controls.
- Evaluation/recommendation and implementation/support of new technologies.
- Work with the Global IT teams
- Management and performance analysis of the IT infrastructure.
- Back-up and disaster recovery.
- Provide advice, technical direction and training to IT support staff.
- Documentation to ensure change control : IT procedures, system maintenance, network diagrams, etc.
To be successful:
- 4-5 years experience in an IT support and Infrastructure role
- IT degree
- Pertinent Technical skills are:
Microsoft Windows Server management,
Active Directory,
WSUS,
VMware,
MS Exchange,
MS ISA,
Blackberry BES,
SSL certificates,
DNS & DHCP,
Internet proxy,
Netbackup / Networker backups
anti-virus solutions
