How do you guys learn idoms?

Thanks for those of you who support this topic. I will post more idoms as I am learning. Please let me know if you find any inaccurate interpretations.

Since I am not majored in English, I am always having butterflies in my stomach when I using English. I just curious about how you guys, especially the English majors, learn idoms and slangs.

All comments are welcome.
