One of the australian friends sent these pictures for us--"China is ready for the Olympics!" , they laughed at the chinglish.

Do you know which mistake is in every picture?

不过水平有限，有的我确实不知道正确的翻译应该是什么。

香港人是这么翻译福字的...
比如福星高照 Fuk sing go jiu。最典型的就是香港搞笑电影里有时候问：你是哪的？答：我是福建大学的，因为福建读起来有点f-u-c-king的意思.福建的同志别打我啊...

这个照片是在香港拍的（就在我家附近;P ），而香港是使用粤语拼音，所以这个标志牌是准确的。

事实上，这个"FUK"应该发"F-OO-K"的音，而非F-U-C-K的音。

题外话，我感觉粤语的拼音比较合理，老外基本上能照着字母读出音来。

普通话的拼音，有些音老外可能看了不知道怎么念或者念出来的音和普通话相差很大，不知道Ball有没有这种感觉。

比如，李，粤语拼音是LEE，汉语拼音是LI，有些老外可能会念成LAI（参照I在HI中的发音）。
