这里面有几个疑问请高手指点：

Woman :Is it a current account or a deposit account you wanted? （current account 和 deposit account 跟国内的有何异同？）

Pieter:A current.
Woman :Right. I've got the application form here then. We have different types - I see you've got our leaflet there.
Pieter:I have decided on the one called 'Select.'(那位熟悉外国银行的大侠说说‘Select’是什么类型？)

Woman :Right. Add will this be a joint account? （这就是类似于国内的联名卡么？）

business dictionary definition:
deposit account:
Interest earning account at a bank or other depository institution the withdrawals from which are limited to the amount of the account's credit balance.

current account:
Non interest-bearing bank account which allows the accountholder to write checks against the funds in the account. Called checking account in the US.
