Home Loan - Can I contact bank instead of my broker?

3 years ago, my friend recommended a broker to me, she did refinance for me, including 3 years fixed rate and variable rate. My home loan will due soon, I contacted her one week ago, told her I perfer variable rate, but no response yet. I am wondering if I can contact the bank directly? Is there any impact to my broker or me? Apologize I can't input Chinese currently.

当然可以啊，银行都有专门的banker做这块的，自己去各家银行问就好了。
和broker之间的协议一般是两年。

Understand, but my broker doesn't get back to me, I told her I don't want fixed rate any more, maybe this is the reason she doesn't reply. Since she and I don't have any contract currently, I can reach out a banker or another broker. I am happy with my current bank, speak to the banker to make sure they won't provide me a high variable rate when the fixed rate is due is a good idea.
