因为土地商提供面积越来越小，目前平均是 400平方米，更多的顾客愿意选择两层楼来增加居住空间以及保留一些户外空间。
珀斯本来绝大多数的房屋仅为一层建筑，随着地价上涨，以及大地块的不可求，两层楼建筑逐渐出现在新建房的市场。
同时因为建房成本下降以及政府的第一次购屋建房补助，也更多的首购买家愿意自己建房，将近六成选择自建房。
Baldivis, Mandurah, Alkimos and Clarkson 都是受欢迎的地区，同时较低的房价也比较负担得起。
