其实现今的汽车厂商需要具备两种能力才能在竞争激烈的全球市场存活。
一个是设计开发能力
另外一个就是海外市场竞争力
holden 这两项都不具备，下场可想而知！

HOLDEN 只能算是GM在澳洲的一个工厂和一部分的研发中心而已，并不算独立的车厂，只是通用想在澳洲卖的车统统挂上HOLDEN标而已 Ford 的falcon都没排上名，可怜啊，这么好的车，可惜也是大排量大型后驱车，过气黄花啊。

跑在前面的，一不小心或放松，就很有可能被后面追上。
这场竞赛，主要看单一选手，而不是选手的国籍，同时现在是国籍界线越来越模糊------
现代 i 系列的车子进步不少，也顺利打入全球各地市场，逐渐摆脱廉价低品质汽车印象，这一个努力追上的过程不只20年。
你问我日韩车能相提并论吗？老实说---- not quite，还有一段很远的距离，但是销量的确是上来了！
